Welcome to CFD

We’ve been growing by leaps and bounds over the last year, so it wasn’t long before we knew it was time to bring on another talented design presence into the studio. Rebecca joined our team in January, and we could not be more thrilled to have her with us. As a seasoned professional creator with a robust skillset, she came to CFD ready to dig in and get creative.

Designing around the World

Rebecca is a North Carolina native, and attended Appalachian State University. She says her love of interior design all began when she took an intro to design class in college, and so began her journey into creating beautiful spaces. Shortly after graduating she moved abroad with her family and worked in commercial design in Shanghai. When she returned to the states, she gained further experience with interior design firms in Virginia and Charleston, as well as owning her own interior design business. She was well-prepared to join CFD and begin designing homes all over NC and across the Eastern Seaboard.

Leadership in Design

Rebecca’s design career has also extended into leadership. She has served as the most recent President of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Carolinas chapter. This professional organization serves to support, educate, and connect designers across the country, and honors the many ways that strategic design can make a meaningful impact in both our lives and our communities. Rebecca’s service to the ASID highlights her dedication to the advancement of our field, and her commitment to not just creating incredible spaces, but to making a real and lasting difference in the lives of our clients.

Making Beautiful Interiors

Watching Rebecca work is a joy. Clients respond to her warmth, energy, and her deep well of creativity. She is truly skilled at recognizing clients’ priorities for their space, and keeping their wishes and needs firmly at the forefront of the entire design. We also love to see the ways that she hones in on elements that a client loves, and weaves them consistently throughout their design to create a beautiful, cohesive space. She makes the design truly feel personal to them.

Those of you that know us are familiar with our tight-knit group and our all-hands-on-deck approach when it comes to taking care of our clients.
